if you like to talk to tomatoes

i have a vegetable garden this summer that i planted in homemade earth boxes. banana peppers, red bell peppers, eggplants, and tomatoes. but i have not been able to get a decent tomato off the vine because something is eating them before i can get to them. what i need to do is put a screen up. i made sandwiches with banana peppers, eggplant parmesan, and pasta and red bell peppers.

i don't know why everybody doesn't just grow their own vegetables it is so much easier, and if you don't use them and they go bad i don't feel as bad. we also are growing basil, mint, parsley, cilantro, green onions, and rosemary. we have no need to go to the store for herbs and vegetables. it is so convenient and i think that the food tastes so much better when grown by yourself, much fresher and healthier.

it took me and my uncle about an hour and a half to build the earth boxes at the beginning of the summer and they work amazingly. i have never been able to grow any vegetables before, but now its like i am a professional gardener.
